Printryx ("we", "us", "our") operates a QR-code-based print ordering platform connecting print shops with their customers. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights — in plain language, not legal filler.
This policy covers two different groups of people, and we collect very different (and very little) information from each:
When a shop owner signs up: name, email address, phone number, business address, and optional business details (GST number, trade license) used to set up and manage their account and subscription.
Deliberately minimal — no name, email, or account is ever created for someone printing at a shop:
Like virtually every website, our servers and the third-party services we use (ad networks, error monitoring) automatically log some basic technical data whenever a page loads — your IP address, browser type and version, device/operating system, the page requested, and a date/time stamp. This is standard web-server behavior, used only to keep the site running (security, debugging, fraud prevention) and never used to build a personal profile of you.
This site, and pages served through it, may use cookies — including from third-party advertising vendors such as Google and Adsterra — to serve ads based on a user's prior visits to this and other websites. We also use Sentry, an error-monitoring service, to help us detect and fix bugs; it may capture the same basic technical data described above when an error occurs. You can opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings.
To operate the print service itself, to help shop owners understand their own usage, and — where a shop has enabled it — to display sponsored content or ads alongside the print flow. We do not sell personal data to third parties.
Uploaded document files: deleted immediately after a print job completes, with an automatic 15-minute safety sweep for anything left uncollected. Shop owner account data: retained for as long as the account is active, and can be deleted on request.
Our servers are hosted with Hetzner Online GmbH (Germany), under a signed Data Processing Agreement. If you are located in India, the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDPA) governs how we handle your data.
You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data (shop owners only — end customers have no stored personal data to request, by design) by contacting us below.
We may update this policy as the service evolves. Material changes will be reflected here with an updated date at the top of this page.
